Most guests staying at the Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island will arrive at Adelaide Airport. From there a second flight can take visitors directly to Kangaroo Island where rental cars are available for getting around and driving to the Southern Ocean Lodge.

It's also possible to travel to the lodge by ferry from Adelaide, however, the route involves several steps.
