Our Review of Constance Moofushi Island Resort, Maldives
With its barefoot chic and laidback vibe, we adore Constance Moofushi in the Maldives for a honeymoon or holiday for couples. We wanted to share five reasons why we love this idyllic Maldives getaway so much…
Constance Moofushi House Reef & Snorkelling
The Water Villas at Constance Moofushi – temptingly hang over crystal-clear water, giving you direct access to one of the best house reefs in the Maldives. Take advantage of the complimentary snorkelling gear and dive straight in, entering a kaleidoscopic world of tropical fish and vivid coral.
Whether they’re between two wooden poles in the glittering shallows, hovering over a patch of sand or hanging from the bough of a tree, hammocks are dotted all across Constance Moofushi. So, you could hop in one and while away the hours watching the fish gliding in the water below or simply grab an Instagram shot and make your friends back home jealous!
Constance Moofushi Food, Bars & Restaurants
If Robinson Cruise was to have a drink somewhere, it would be at Totem. Its sandy setting and thatched hut oozes rustic charm among the palms, serving a range of local beers and cocktails than you can enjoy on comfy seats scattered along the beach. Cheers!
Spa, Gym & Infinity Pool
With the ocean as good as it is at Constance Moofushi, you wonder why you’d bother leaving it. But the resort’s swimming pool is dreamily curved to mirror the beach that lies right in front of it, so there’s excellent views from all of the day beds. Though the ocean is amazing, the pool is an alternative you need to (literally) dip into.
Like the Water Villas, Constance Moofushi’s U Spa hovers over tranquil turquoise water. The setting is immediately calming and adds to an atmosphere designed to relax, rejuvenate and cleanse you. The attention to detail when it comes to your personal preferences is astounding and the treatments only use natural ingredients.
Weather at Constance Moofushi
Constance Moofushi’s weather is at its peak from December until April. However, The Maldives is a fantastic place to visit at any time of the year with temperatures at a steady 30°C. May through to October tends to see slightly more tropical rainfall, but still plenty of sunshine.
Water, Beach & Sand Villas
The natural and stylish villas all boast a rustic-chic vibe with high thatched ceilings. Each of the beautiful beach villas are some of the favourite land-based villas in the Maldives, chill on your very own hammock while watching the sunset. The elegant Constance Moofushi water villas are just as spacious, with steps leading straight into the crystal-clear lagoon. If you want total seclusion, the large water villas are set further away with an outdoor bathtub for soaking under a sky full of stars.
