We had a wonderful honeymoon! Mo’orea was idylic. The scenery was just so amazing and beautiful and we went on a quad and lagoon tour which was phenomenal! We were very sad to be coming home!
The Pearl resort was wonderful and they gave us a wonderful welcome. We were upgraded to a premium overwater bungalow which was fantastic. The hotel was extremely friendly, and their attention to little details was a lovely, such as a flowers in the room, gifts of pineapple and biscuits!
We were a bit suprised at how many children were there and playing in the pool and splashing everyone, so it may be an idea to ask if people mind this before they book, as we did not expect so many families to travel this far. We thought it would be much more of an exclusive honeymoon/couples resort.
Air Tahiti was fantastic and we had great journeys to and from. We even had Sarah Jessica Parker and Mathew Broderick on our flight out.
For Virgin Upper Class, the entertainment system was fantastic but the food really let them down, it was trying to be stylish but the quality was of any other inflight meal (economy). The staff were really friendly and helpful, however we felt that there were too many seats in the upper class section.
