Looking for a holiday experience with a difference this summer? The Baa Atoll Festival is the first of its kind in the Maldives and could be the perfect addition to your Indian Ocean escape.
Running between 20th July and 3rd August 2018, this 14-day festival brings together 6 of the Baa Atoll’s key resorts, allowing guests to experience a brand new culinary experience and showcasing the best that this group of islands has to offer. If you are a guest staying at any of the participating hotels, you will have the chance to take part in a number of activities throughout the two weeks and will even get the opportunity to visit and dine on other neighbouring islands.
The festival will begin on 20th July 2018 with sunset cocktails being served at each of the festival resorts. Here you will get to mingle with the staff and other guests – and it’s a great opportunity to find out about the weeks ahead!
There will then be 2 rounds of a 6 day dine-around experience, which will see each hotel take pride of place, opening their sands to some lucky guests from all of the resorts, to show off their culinary brilliance. Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru
The Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru blends tropical nature, contemporary luxury and top-notch service seamlessly – making for the perfect honeymoon or romantic getaway! Landaa Giraavaru will be showcasing its Italian Restaurant Blu, serving a Mediterranean tasting menu that will tantalise your taste buds!
Finolhu
This cool and stylish resort is the place to be if you’re looking for an island with a sociable atmosphere and retro vibe- a fun and fabulous escape for young couples or a group of friends. Finolhu’s participating restaurant is Kanusan known for artistic Asian dishes and exciting flavours.
Soneva Fushi
For those looking for the original barefoot luxury retreat in the Maldives, the eco-friendly Soneva Fushi is a castaway island with a real focus on conservation and a Robinson Crusoe style escape. Soneva has most recently opened their Out of the Blue dining complex, and Once Upon a Table is the restaurant which will be showcasing a delightful selection of cuisine.
