The UK’s wet summer has certainly put a damper on spirits this year. We’re definitely wondering when the heat is going to happen – even though we’re approaching the autumn, it feels like summer simply missed us all. We have a remedy for that problem, though, with the Maldives and glorious Huvafen Fushi.
Huvafen Fushi is one of the Maldives’s most chic and happening resorts. The resort mixes modern and contemporary with the traditions of the Maldives, providing a unique yet always relaxing and luxurious experience. We’re not the only ones who think so, as the resort has previously been called the best beach resort in the entire world by Harper’s Bazaar Travel Guide. Not just the Maldives – the entire world!
The resort is set within its own lagoon, only accessible via a 30 minute speedboat ride. Each bungalow has its own freshwater pool, open-air waterfall shower, and deck, and all are inspired by the relaxing colours and textures of the island. Bungalows are split between Beach Bungalows, Deluxe Beach Bungalows, and the extravagant overwater bungalows with direct access to the lagoon. If you really want to get away from it all, the two Ocean Pavilions are located 300 metres over the ocean, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an infinity pool, and an infinity edge Kohler bath that actually fills from the ceiling! It’s the height of luxury.
If that wasn’t enough, Huvafen Fushi is also home to the world’s first underwater spa treatment rooms, with treatments and therapies from Per Aquum’s new spa brand, Lime.
If you missed your summer holiday this year, or simply fancy a second escape before Christmas, we have an offer for you to head to this glorious destination. If you book before 15th September, you can enjoy 7 nights half board in a beach bungalow, including transfers and Sri Lankan Airlines flights from just £2765 per person, offering savings of £2000. This offer is valid for travel between 1st October and 23rd December 2011.
