With adventure and relaxation to be had right across the Seychelles archipelago, why just pick one place to stay in? Our marketing manager Grace has put together the ultimate island-hopping itinerary, so you don’t have to…
Days 1-2
Land into Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles and home to the nation’s capital, Victoria, which is also the smallest capital in the world. This island is very unique with its sculptured granite boulders that run just behind the white-sand beaches. Enter into this captivating island, bursting with rich culture and warming smiles.
Be greeted at Mahé Airport by a friendly member of Masons Travel, who will collect your luggage and whisk you away to your first hotel, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles. This scenic 30-minute drive will take you down the east coast of the island, before cutting through the mountains until you reach the Four Seasons, on the west coast. Picture impossibly turquoise waters, pristine white sand and lush, green, jungle-clad hills. Welcome to your home for two nights. Enjoy a Garden View Villa, just steps away from the beach with total privacy.
STAY: Two nights at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
Days 3-4
After relaxing and rejuvenating for two days at the Four Seasons, get ready for an adventure! Catch an early morning flight over to Praslin and be sure to get a window seat and gaze down on the world below for 20 minutes. Praslin is the second largest island in the Seychelles and is home to many wonders. Your next hotel is Constance Lemuria, tucked away on the north-west coast of the island. With three beautiful beaches to its name, this slice of paradise complements the more active among us. Be sure to visit Vallee de Mai, the UNESCO World Heritage Site which is home to the legendary Coco de Mer palm – remember your mosquito spray! Another must are the beaches around the island – Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette and Anse Kerlan. We promise they’re even better than they look in the pictures!
STAY: Two nights at Constance Lemuria
Days 5-6
To continue your adventure, enjoy a short drive to the ferry port to catch a short boat over to La Digue. Get ready to step on an island where the pace of life is similar to 100 years ago. Swap cars for carts, mobile phones for talking and coke cans for coconuts. The island is so small, you can cycle round it in an afternoon and we would highly recommend doing so! Rest your head at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie, which is a stone’s throw from the arrival jetty. It features just 55 villas, dotted up the hillside and all embracing natural materials, neutral colours and a chic design.
