‘To give you an overview of LUX*, it’s a really contemporary resort with a laid-back atmosphere. The island feels larger than other resorts in the Maldives and there’s a great selection of bars and restaurants. If you’re someone who loves lots of activities and things to keep you entertained then LUX* is the place for you! I loved the quirky details here, such as the Tree of Wishes, find the Message in a Bottle to win a special treat and the Phone Home red telephone box to contact your loved ones if you’re missing them!’
The food and drink options at LUX* are amazing and there’s plenty to choose from. ‘I loved the Lagoon Bar on the beach, it had a really chilled out vibe with cushions on the beach and reggae music. Beach Rouge feels really young and contemporary, with a DJ in the evening, huge variety of drinks, and nets over the water to relax on- a really fun location for honeymooners. Make the most of Café Lux before 10am for free coffee, the live cooking stations at East Market and Japanese Unami for sushi options. Watch put for the free ice cream kart which goes around the resort twice a day!’
We have also described some other really special features of LUX*; ‘For families, the beach pavilions are fantastic with an internal door. This is the best value option, you’ll be getting your own space as well and you’re seconds away from that pure white sand. LUX* is also well known for its Whale Shark excursions- the Maldives is one of the few places in the world where you can swim with the largest fish in the sea!
