Underwater world…
Snorkelling and diving at Constance Moofushi is spectacular. They have one of the best house reefs, which is inhabited by a breathtaking array of marine life including turtles, sting rays, lionfish, sea cucumbers, moray eels, pufferfish, triggerfish, giant clams, lobsters, manta rays, octopus and reef shark. And that’s just scratching the surface! So, grab your snorkelling gear (which is complimentary at the resort) from the surf shack and see some of the magnificent underwater life. Get a picture in the underwater photo frame with the dazzling reef as your perfect backdrop! If you do not own an underwater camera, you can rent one from the dive centre. You can even take an underwater digital photography course! Finding the photo frame is part of the fun but if you need a hint, one of the friendly staff on the island will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Head to the end of the Senior Water Villa jetty at Constance Moofushi and you’re treated to uninterrupted views of the glistening Indian Ocean. You will also find a perfectly placed window frame, primed for when you jump into the warm water and grab that Instagram-ready selfie. On land, be the envy of all your friends at Constance Halaveli as their photo frame is located on powdery white sand with the gin-clear water behind. You won’t need to use any filters in these glorious settings as your snaps will look like they’ve leapt from the pages of a travel magazine.

Hang loose on the swing seat at Constance Moofushi’s jetty and take some time out to listen to the waves gently lapping underneath you. Hang out in your very own perfect cocoon, suspended from the palm trees at Constance Halaveli, and read a book, lay back and listen to the waves and spot friendly marine life. Or, why not head to the overwater hammock, which serves as the perfect tanning spot. The turquoise waters lapping beneath you make sure you don’t get too hot. Wake up early one morning and take a stroll around Constance Halaveli’s meditation garden, which lies at the centre of the glorious island. As you take a stroll, you’ll notice many inspirational quotes hanging from the trees, like ‘Stay patient and trust the journey’; ‘Just be still, outer stillness will lead to inner stillness’; ‘Relax, it is not a process’; ‘Just let go, surrender, it’s a beautiful thing’; ‘Pay attention, do nothing in particular, just be awake’.
Kids’ club…
The #myconstancemoments are not just for adults, children have their own moments too! The kids’ club at Constance Halaveli is fantastic, as they encourage them to play and do activities they wouldn’t necessarily do at home, such as nature walks, crab hunts and races, yoga initiation, coconut races and stargazing. Children can also help out around the island to earn bracelets for payment, which they can then exchange for milkshakes, ice creams and sweet treats during their stay. Before they leave the island, children can put their handprints on the wall of the kids’ club with their signature and when they’ve returned home, the kids’ club staff will write to them and send them a picture of their handprint proudly displayed on the wall!
