Ever wondered what Fiji is like?
Read Lucia and Mark’s honeymoon feedback after they travelled to Fiji and stayed at two amazing resorts – Mantangi Private Island Resort and LikuLiku Lagoon Resort. Booked by Turquoise.
A massive thank you to the Turquoise Holiday team and especially our travel consultant Tracie Harries for the honeymoon of our dreams! We booked with Turquoise as we wanted to go somewhere really exotic for our honeymoon and we saw Turquoise in a magazine and they seemed to have everything we wanted.
We eventually decided to go to Fiji and Tracie was fantastic in recommending places to go for the type of thing we wanted – diving, relaxation and luxury!
In Fiji we stayed first at Matangi Private Island Resort to do some scuba diving (on Tracie’s recommendation) and this was absolutely brilliant. The staff there are out of this world, it is like a family resort with around 20 people staying there at once. Our Bure was brilliant, the diving was awesome and the food and service just phenomenal. We would definitely recommend it!
From there we finished our honeymoon in style and luxury at LikuLiku Resort, which we got to via a 15 minute helicopter ride from the main island (again Tracie’s doing!). It is no exaggeration to say that this was pure paradise. We had an overwater bure, the only ones in Fiji, which included our own deck with steps to the sea and fantastic snorkelling. The room was of unbelievable quality, with first class service (a bottle of champagne on ice was waiting in our room when we arrived) and a stunning view of Castaway Island. The food was five star, and we really didn’t want to leave.
All in all the trip surpassed all our expectations and definitely made the gruelling travelling worth it! It would not have been possible without Tracie and the Turquoise team and so we thank you all for giving us memories that will last forever!
We also used the honeymoon gift list which we used to allow our guests to contribute to our trip if they so wished. This is a great idea and thank you for helping us with this!!
