The villas have been designed to create a charming blend of traditional Creole architecture and contemporary design. All are situated among trees and huge granite rocks that give plenty of privacy and peace. We fell in love with the Intendance Pool Villa, which offers panoramic views across the Indian Ocean, Intendance Bay and the surrounding mountains. A set of walkways and stairs connect the luxurious living areas: a bedroom, living pavilion and pool, with a separate sundeck and outdoor jet pool, all set at different levels into the hill.

These villas are irresistibly romantic and include lovely honeymoon treats such as champagne on arrival. For spa aficionados, one of the Intendance Pool Villas on top of the mountain even features an additional massage pavilion. We also highly recommend the Banyan Tree Spa (the first destination spa in the Seychelles), tucked away on the hillside. A sanctuary for the senses, the eight spa pavilions offer treatments combining centuries-old Asian traditions with spiritual and physical wellbeing, set to the sound of breaking waves.
