When we started out in 2002, The Turquoise Holiday Company was a honeymoon specialist first and foremost. Though we’re still the experts in planning honeymoons of a lifetime for newly weds, many of us have gotten a little older (and hopefully, a little wiser!) and started families of our own. Naturally, we’ve started seeing the world through our children’s eyes and, even though we’ve never lost touch with our roots as the UK’s leading honeymoon specialist, the family arm of our business has grown and grown. With young ones of our own, we’ve become experts at travelling with kids in tow and we love passing on that invaluable advice to you. In fact, many of our original honeymooners have returned to us with young families of their own.
So, we’re delighted to say our passion for crafting the perfect family holiday has led us to winning ‘Best Family Tour Operator’ in Angels & Urchins’ Travel Awards 2020. It’s the second year running we’ve won, which shows we’ve become leaders in the family holiday market, as well as honeymoons. The judges also described Turquoise as ‘an old-fashioned tour operator with 21st century creds’, which we think sums us up perfectly! We are thrilled to be recognised for our great service and knowledge.
