Jack's Camp, Botswana

Nestled into the breath taking Kalahari environment are the green canvas tents of Jack’s camp, this is no shabby camp to spend a few nights. This is an ultra-glamorous oasis of white linens, silver cutlery and glassware. Romantic outdoor showers and copper basins will be a welcome refresher after a day of exploring the magical desert. There is even a private butler service to provide you with your favourite tipple whilst watching the sunset.

Well known for extremely high levels of guiding, Jack’s Camp is not your average safari camp. Big game is not the focus here – it’s the setting as well as the appreciation of wilderness and the open air that this camp is all about. That’s not to say that there isn’t any game here, as full-day game drives to the Boteti River area can be extremely productive. However, Jack’s is about appreciating the finer things – walking and tracking with the San Bushmen, visiting groups of habituated meerkat and brown hyena, or simply exploring the lunar landscape of the Makgadikgadi.

This is a superb safari camp that offers a refreshing contrast to the wet big-game viewing areas of the Okavango, Moremi and Chobe.
