House in the Wild

House in the Wild is a family owned and run boutique lodge in the north of the Masai Mara, and is a very special place. The lodge sits proudly on the banks of the Mara River, in a private estate within the Enonkishu Conservancy. Instantly upon arriving, you will feel captivated in the magical warmth and unique feeling this lodge creates. House in the Wild has a wonderful story that has shaped the ethos of the lodge today. Originally an intensive farmland, the lodge began its ‘rewilding’ journey 10 years ago and has watched the wildlife return, and the land become enriched with growth and life again. The wildlife is brilliant here, and the viewing experience is ultimately exclusive. House in the Wild’s passion is conservation, restoring biodiversity and creating extraordinary experiences for their guests. This is echoed throughout the lodge and is why House in the Wild never seizes to amaze our clients. It truly is home away from home.
