World class design has cleverly combined modern contemporary style with authentic Balinese interiors using various local artists, custom made paintings and fabrics. Accommodation is split between 35 luxurious Suites, some of which interconnect. All are located within the main buildings and offer views of the valley. Private pool villas are located at ground level, many with a tranquil riverside setting. Spacious Reserve Suites have an open living space and outside balcony, whilst larger Mandapa Suites have a separate living area. One Bedroom Pool Villas have private outdoor spaces including a pool and garden. Two and three bedroom villas are also available onsite.

One of our favourite spaces within the resort is Kubu Restaurant (Kubu meaning hut or shelter). This unique bamboo structure offers the ultimate of intimate dining spaces with nine private cocoons overlooking the Ayung River and features Mediterranean-European cuisine. Sawah Terace, serving up the best of Balinese and Asian cuisine, overlooks the jungle and valley. The Pool Bar is the perfect spot for a light lunch whilst relaxing by the main pool. Beyond the resort restaurants, the Mandapa team can create tailor-made menus in romantic spots, such as the riverside, in the rice terrace, a picnic to go or simply a private in-villa barbeque.

Embracing Ubud’s crown as a centre for spiritual and holistic experiences, the Mandapa Spa utilizes a range of ESPA and local products for Balinese massages and skin care treatments. Mini explorers can enjoy the Mandapa Camp, featuring a kids’ hut and an educational farm where little ones can take care of the resort’s cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits and more.
