Oberoi Bali

The Oberoi’s 74 villas and Lanai rooms are scattered throughout the grounds, designed with the feel of a local village. Both are traditionally Balinese in style, built from local materials with thatched roofs and handpicked local artwork. The spacious Lanai rooms have French doors opening onto a large private terrace with views of the landscaped gardens or ocean. The larger villas have a living area and al fresco dining pavilion with a walled private courtyard. Some also have private pools.

You can dine around the pool, just steps from Seminyak beach, at Frangipani Café, which serves American, continental and Indonesian breakfasts, as well as light, healthy lunches. In the evening, relax and watch Bali’s beautiful sunsets from Kayu Bar. The bar sits next to Kura Kura Restaurant, a thatched, open-air, fine dining space decorated with traditional artefacts and offering endless ocean views served with delicious European and Indonesian cuisine. Of course, there are plenty of wonderful dining options in and around Seminyak, but if you’d prefer not to leave the tranquillity of the resort, there is plenty to help you relax.

Their unique spa features private therapy rooms housed in traditional, open-air pavilions, with views across private tropical gardens. Therapies include Balinese, western and Oberoi signature treatments that harmonise ancient philosophies with modern science, and use natural ingredients to cleanse, tone and refresh the body and mind. Children are very well looked after, with plenty of kids’ activities from swimming, tennis, traditional dancing, wood carving and art lessons to kite-flying on the beach and fish-feeding in the lily ponds.
