The resort’s centre is based on the original buildings, dating back over 200 years. The lobby is a heritage 1878 railway station and the club house a former heritage Dutch mansionm a gorgeous space to relax and enjoy afternoon tea. The villas are scattered amongst the hillside and are crafted from original Javanese antique wooden houses, all individually decorated with original antiques and art collections. The twenty-three villas are all extremely specious with modern facilities, a large living area and outdoor veranda offering breath- taking views overlooking the coffee plantation or mountains. The Plantation Villas have a separate living and sleeping area, whilst the Arum Villas have traditional Javanese décor and huge balconies overlooking the mountains. Families are well catered for in the Ambar family villas which either have a main bedroom with a separate single room, or another has two bedrooms.

Dining has a focus of Javanese food, using organic local produce, some grown in the resorts own gardens, guests can also join a cooking class during their stay.
