Avani, Luang Prabang
This intimate boutique hotel has pride of place right in the centre of Luang Prabang, next to the Royal Palace. There are dozens of beautiful temples and historic sites within easy walking distance and across the road is the night market, where you can ship for wooden handicrafts, paper lanterns and local artefacts. However once inside, a sense of calm awaits. The hotel is a new build, however maintains the classic French Colonial style Luang Prabang is known for. Low rise white walls with louvre windows look on to a sunny courtyard and swimming pool.

The guest rooms offer an open-plan living experience with French-styled wooden doors that open out to a veranda. Each room is equipped with all the comforts of home like a sumptuous king-sized bed, an elegant ensuite bathroom, and living areas.
Complimentary bicycles are available from reception and are a great way to explore Luang Prabang’s higgledy-piggledy streets. After a day exploring relax around the pool or indulge in the resort spa. Main Street Bar & Grill offers Asian and European bistro style dining throughout the day and there are plenty of great little restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
