Each of the 28 rooms and 3 suites have their own charm and character, all decorated with local art and historical artefacts to give a real sense of a bygone era. Rooms are furnished with superior crafted wood furniture, oversized balconies, spacious bathrooms with a rain shower. Junior Suites have more space and separate baths, while the Satri House Suite is the previous residence of the last prince of Laos.

The centre of town is an easy walk from Satri House and the friendly staff are more than happy to suggest places to visit or restaurants to dine in. Alternatively, you can borrow one of their bicycles, available for guest use. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the sophisticated Satri House restaurant. It features local Laos delicacies as well as a combination of western and Asian specialities (the summer rolls are a must), all of which can be enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the lily pond. There’s also a beautiful spa house complete with romantic jacuzzi, cool plunge pool, herbal steam room and a variety of treatments. On three evenings a week they invite in-house guests to enjoy a sunset cruise along the Mekong River. It’s a wonderful way to end a day, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
