Palawan Luxury Holidays

Palawan is a collection of islands in the west of the Philippines, includes the island of Coron and El Nido, both famous for their impressive limestone karst scenery, azure lagoons and amazing snorkelling and diving – it has been voted the most beautiful islands in the world by Conde Nast and we can see why. Stay in one of the resorts tucked away within the bays and coves of this dramatic landscape – this is the part of your holiday where you’ll feel castaway in a remote hideaway retreat.

Travel

Palawan is accessible with flights from Manila. This does mean that if you are travelling from another area of the Philippines you do have to change planes but it is worth it, trust us. El Nido have their own flights directly into El Nido from Manila, and also Cebu. Two Seasons Resort is located a short boat ride from the island of Coron who’s airport, Busuanga is serviced by scheduled flights from Manila. Amanpulo have their very own charter flights directly onto the islands private airstrip, with two departures a day to connect with various international flights.

Explore

Once there you’ll see what all the fuss is about. Take to the water by canoe or kayak, hike through jungle trails to the most spectacular lookouts over azure lagoons or go snorkelling and diving amongst the gin clear waters. This really is a nature lover’s playground and a firm favourite destination for Turquoise.

Itineraries
“The Philippines is relatively uncharted and rustic in comparison to the rest of Southeast Asia, made up of thousands of islands equally as captivating as the next one. Be in awe of the limestone karsts that emerge from the turquoise waters of Bacuit Bay, visit the delectable, yet inedible, Chocolate Hills of Bohol in the Mindanao province and while you’re there, make friends with its tarsiers. Filipinos, known the world over for their warmth and limitless hospitality, will capture your heart.” Rachel Gleave, Asia Product Manager
