This relatively new resort has a bright, contemporary design, with subtle Thai touches to create a natural local feel. Natural stone and local timbers blend effortlessly with the surrounding jungle and each of the 70 rooms are built up the hillside, with spacious balconies commanding sensational views of the ocean or national park. Premier Rooms are tucked away at the top of the hillside whilst the large Deluxe Layan Suites have an additional living space. Spacious Deluxe Pool Villas have as much space outside as inside, complete with private pools, huge sundeck and outdoor bathtub. Family Pool Villas have an additional living space which can accommodate one extra bed for a child but for larger families we would suggest a Two Bedroom Pool Villa or even bigger Two Bedroom Layan Pool Villas. Sala Pool Villas are double the size of the regular Pool Villas with spacious teak wood desks, open air sala and generous garden, upgrade to a Beach Access Villa for seclusion but access to the beach or the Beachfront Layan Pool Villas to be directly behind the sand.

Located right on the beach - breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Sala Layan, a lovely spot to gaze out to sea whilst enjoying Mediterranean delights. Their signature restaurants Dee Plee, also with wonderful sea views offers delicious Thai cuisine. You don’t have to move far from the beach or pool to enjoy a refreshing drink or light snack at Breeze Bar, with a choice of delicious cocktails, perfect to sample as the sun sets. For a romantic touch the resort can arrange a private dinner or bbq in the privacy of your villa or in various romantic spots around the resort or on the beach.

The resort itself boasts a gorgeous beachfront backed by a sensational swimming pool, perfect for days of sun worshipping and relaxation, the Anantara Spa offers a whole host of indulgent treatments to help you unwind.
