Saigon to Siem Reap - Aqua Mekong Cruise

One of the most luxurious ways to discover local life in remote corners of Vietnam and Cambodia along the banks of the river is to join an extended cruise and Aqua Mekong is the best on the river. We wouldn’t look at it as a cruise ship as such, more of a floating luxury boutique hotel with just twenty spacious air-conditioned suites; each with floor to ceiling windows and some with outdoor balconies to make the most of the unique views of life on the river.

With four individual tenders(skiffs) on board and four knowledgeable guides, each day can be tailored to suit different guests’ interests and these small boats can venture deeper into the small tributaries of the river to visit places most of the larger boats can’t reach. The boat is also equipped with bicycles to explore further into the countryside. With a staff guest ratio of one to one the service is exceptional, along with top notch cuisine. (High river itinerary August – November. When water level is lower from December – August boats can’t cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake so the itinerary is similar but rather than cross the lake they return to Phnom Penh and then fly to Siem Reap)
