Located just a 90-minute drive south of Darwin, Finniss River Lodge is a remote retreat surrounded by expansive floodplains and near the striking escarpment and waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. Cleverly designed to have minimal impact on the environment, the lodge seamlessly integrates into its stunning landscape and accommodates up to twelve guests in six luxurious suites. Each stay includes twice-daily experiences, curated to explore the expansive floodplains and nearby coastline with expert local guides, uncovering the region's natural wonders.

The main guest building features two distinct sections: six spacious and comfortable suites and the "Long Room." Here, you can unwind on leather couches with your favourite book whilst enjoy a glass of something cold. The stylish restaurant and bar offer breathtaking views of the horizon, pool, and wetlands and their acclaimed chef crafts exquisite dishes using local ingredients, complemented by a dynamic wine list, boutique beers, and spirits.

A stay at Finniss River Lodge includes all meals, featuring a la carte breakfast, lunch (with picnic options), and dinner accompanied by select wines, local craft beers, and soft drinks. Twice-daily guided excursions on the property include 4WD experiences, hiking, wildlife spotting, and sundowner drinks.

While the minimum stay is two nights, we recommend three or four nights to fully immerse yourself in the incredible variety of experiences on offer, from wildlife spotting by 4WD and sundowners to guided walks. For longer stays, an airboat experience on the Finniss River is available. For a truly special adventure, enjoy a scenic helicopter excursion to Litchfield National Park, or opt for a self-drive to explore the park at your leisure.
