Sails in the Desert, Northern Territory
Sails in the Desert offers modern, luxury accommodation within the Ayers Rock Resort, named after the white sails that crown its roof. The interior design honours the rich heritage of its traditional Anangu owners, with a gallery in the lobby and significant artworks featured throughout the public spaces and private rooms.
Sails in the Desert
Each of the 228 spacious rooms and suites are beautifully designed, featuring natural tones complemented by indigenous artwork and decorative pieces. Superior Rooms provide ample space for up to four guests, with a patio or balcony, while Deluxe Suites offer the added comfort of a separate living area.
The hotel boasts its own pool and the Red Ochre Spa, perfect for unwinding after a morning of exploring Uluru. The Ilkari restaurant, a brasserie-style venue, serves Indigenous-inspired cuisine. Guests can also enjoy the complimentary shuttle bus, which connects all parts of the resort, home to 13 dining outlets, including Geckos Coffee House, Outback BBQ Bar and Grill, and Asian-inspired noodles at Ayers Wok.
