Luxury and style prevail in the twenty spacious Lodge Suites, each of which is discreetly positioned along the riverbank with floor-to-ceiling glass windows showcasing the wonderful views. The open-plan bedroom and living area open onto a verandah with views across the immaculate lawn to the Waikato River. The dressing room and bathroom, with rain shower and deep bath, take advantage of the natural surroundings with verdant foliage providing privacy and inducing calm.

Set away from the main lodge, almost completely hidden from view, the beautiful four-bedroom Alex van Heeren Cottage and sumptuous two-bedroom Alan Pye Cottage are the perfect retreats for those seeking their own exclusive hideaway.

Dining at Huka Lodge is a truly wonderful experience. Start the day with a delicious, hearty breakfast overlooking the tumbling Waikato River before heading out to enjoy one of the many activities in the region. As evening arrives, pre-dinner drinks and canapes are served before guests indulge in a gourmet dinner with a daily changing menu using local, seasonal ingredients.  

Soak up the views and ambiance in the impressive Dining Room and on the expansive terrace or opt for more privacy in The Loft or Piper Room. Other private dining areas include the heavenly River Deck, the wood-panelled Library, the underground Wine Cellar, and the fruit tree filled Orchard.

The delightful lakeside town of Taupo is just a short drive away and the geothermal heartland of Rotorua is less than an hour's drive.
