Rosewood Matakauri offers accommodation in eleven luxurious guest suites, with eight outlying cottages and three suites located in the main lodge. Every suite offers its own private porch, bedroom with sitting area and open fireplace, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. All rooms have beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu and the mountain panorama.

The sensational Owner's Cottage, designed for families and groups of friends travelling together, accommodates up to 8 guests. Superbly positioned to offer uninterrupted lake and mountain views, the spacious cottage boasts a large lounge, study, kitchen and dining room. The four generous bedrooms feature fireplaces, large bathrooms with views from the bathtubs and private balconies overlooking magnificent Lake Wakatipu.

The stunning main lodge houses the relaxing guest lounge and dining area – all designed to maximise the wonderful views, of course! Breakfast, pre-dinner drinks with hors d'oeuvres and dinner are included in your stay, with a strong emphasis on fresh local produce.

Walks and fishing are available from the lodge – and if you can tear yourself away, Queenstown’s shops, restaurants and adventure activities are just a short drive away. At the end of the day, retreat to the Spa, a wonderful sanctuary nestled in native bush using natural and organic products.
