The Lone Star

The Lone Star Restaurant is the focal point of the hotel, being renowned for its beachfront location and notorious dining experience. Begin your day with an a la carte breakfast so close to the azure water’s edge you can almost touch it. Come evening, watch the sunset with a signature cocktail in hand from the Star Bar before enjoying a sumptuous meal. A crowd-pleasing menu offers a wide range of European cuisine bursting with Caribbean flavours! Not to be missed is the popular rum shack lovingly known as JuJu’s offering local delights and famous rum punches, less than a 50 metre walk down the beach.

Each spacious room and suite have a distinctive contemporary design, combining Caribbean influences with sleek modern architecture – tropical chic style, four poster beds, mahogany floor and fresh accents. Cadillac, Lincoln, Buick, Studebaker, Shelby and Corvette: the room names pay homage to the historic garage predating the hotel. Choose from an oceanfront setting with stunning views of the beach or a secluded garden outlook for a more intimate experience.

The facilities at The Lone Star are minimal with no pool (you do however have the Caribbean Sea on your doorstep!) or water sports – though masks, snorkels and flippers are available to guests to swim with resident turtles right from the shore in front of the hotel. There is a full concierge and butler service available to arrange in room spa treatments, water sports activities or day trips – from catamaran cruises to scuba diving, historic and cultural tours of the island, or even a spot of rum tasting!
