As much as we love Tower 8, and we highly recommend at least a few samples from the menu during your stay, there are numerous great places to eat and drink on your doorstep, so head round the corner and explore Montana Avenue's many delightful spots dotted along this tree-lined residential street. For a sundowner to remember, you can't beat The Bungalow bar at the Fairmont hotel just a couple of blocks away. It's just a few minutes' ride or a short stroll to the shopping and dining hub of Santa Monica, 3rd Street Promenade, or walk along Ocean Avenue to the the infamous pier in just 10 minutes. To hit the beach, cross Ocean Ave and meander over a footbridge down to the vast stretch of sand and the regularly photographed lifeguard towers on Santa Monica's beach.
