The Caves, Jamaica

Comprised of 12 unique cliffside cottages, each filled with charm and local Jamaican artwork, this is a small boutique retreat. Rooms are light and airy, yet cosy and comfortable, with most offering glorious ocean views. Air conditioning is standard in all of the rooms, however, most guests choose to draw the mosquito net around, open the louvered shutters and enjoy the breeze and the sound of the sea below.

For the ultimate indulgence, book a private dining experience in one of the caves. Choose from Seastar or Moonbeam and, surrounded by dozens of flickering candles, feast on a delicious five course meal. Bamboo Terrace at the heart of the hotel is where you can find tasty homemade treats and drinks day or night. The Sands Bar is the place to be for a livelier evening… venture to this ultra-cool hot spot on a Wednesday or Saturday for locally prepared jerk chicken and a Red Stripe or two!

The Caves is proud of its small, but perfectly formed Aveda spa, which has been voted one of the best on the island. Choose from a range of treatments in a variety of locations… our favourite spot for a relaxing massage is a candlelit cave!

With stunning sea caves comes outstanding snorkelling. Wander down the steps into the sea (there isn’t a beach here) and join the hotel's water sports director and cliff diving expert for a guided snorkelling trip around and through these fascinating caves. If you are lucky, a school of dolphins might accompany you on your expedition!

Negril has a colourful nightlife scene with incredible music played live most days of the week! Dance the night away with a Red Stripe in hand.
