Little Governors' Camp, Kenya
Intimate in character, Little Governors Camp in the Masai Mara, boasts just 17 stylish ensuite tents tucked around a large watering hole which teems with both birds and wildlife. The camp is approached by a boat ride across the Mara River followed by an escorted walk through the riverine forest. Vehicles are left on the far river bank and the camp is therefore quiet and undisturbed.
Little Governors Camp
Each of the 17 luxury tents have a polished wooden deck with a large verandah where you can enjoy the constant game activity which takes place around the watering hole.
Guests can enjoy amazing game drives and guided walks where you can spot some of the best wildlife in teh Masai Mara, with it's waters teeming with bird-life, hippos, and crocodiles. Nearby, guests can enjoy activities such as hot-air ballooning, rhino tracking, cultural tours, and bird watching.
At Little Governor's camp, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch in the open air with a possible visit from the resident family of warthogs amongst the tables! As the Governors' properties are unfenced, there may also be a sighting of the elephants strolling past. End your day of spotting incredible wildlife with a drink in front of the log fire watching the sun go down in the bar tent, and then enjoy a delicious dinner in the nearby Dining tent.
