The architecturally designed lodge boasts four super king ensuite rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and private decks offering breathtaking lake views or a private courtyard. Each room is stylish and contemporary, with a strong emphasis on privacy and comfort. Spacious en suites feature large showers and under-floor heating. The three lakeview suites – Kaimanawa, Wharewaka and Parewera - face east, so you can lie in the luxury of your bed and enjoy a stunning sunrise over Lake Taupo. The Mapara Garden suite features a fabulous free-standing bath and is designed to capture the afternoon sun in your own tranquil garden courtyard.

Hosts Rick and Linda are passionate about food and wine. Gourmet breakfasts are included and dinner can be arranged - which we highly recommend. An emphasis is placed on using the freshest produce from local providers. A candlelit dinner for two on your private deck watching the changing colours over the lake below is certainly an evening to remember! Every evening, canapés and drinks are served and you can chat with fellow guests and your friendly hosts as the sun sets over Lake Taupo. If you choose to dine out, there's a wonderful selection of restaurants, cafes and bars in nearby Taupo - and your hosts will happily make arrangements for you.

Taupo is a great base to enjoy some fly fishing, explore Lake Taupo on a private boat cruise, play a round or two of golf, go hiking or simply just relax and absorb the 
stunning scenery and listen to the call of the bellbirds and tuis. Mountain bikes are available for guests to use - and we highly recommend exploring the local area!
