Safari Lodges
South Africa has some of the best game reserves in Africa. There are safaris and game reserves here to suit every type of visitor, from seasoned safari goer to honeymooners, to young children.
South Africa’s Kruger Park and the adjacent private game reserves like the Sabi Sands provide world-class game viewing, and regions like the Eastern Cape and our favorite, the Madikwe Game Reserve, are fantastic alternative ‘Big 5’ destinations. These two are also in malaria free zones, making them ideal destinations for many, particularly families with small children.
The safari experience in South Africa is also unique in how good the food and wine is during your stay. You find yourselves in some of remotest areas of Africa, yet you’re still eating and drinking like a king. And the wine in South Africa is sensational! It’s the ultimate indulgence to be out game viewing during the day to then come back to camp to a delicious dinner in the evening.
